DESIGN COMMENTS:
Holby’s foray into fiberglass production began in the 2000s with the popular Pilot 20’ and continues with her larger sister the 24’. Mark Ellis designed both and it is clear he used the classic lobster boat as a starting point. Crisp lines and a gentle tumble home over a modified V-bottom with wide chines make the 24’ stable and quick to plane.
CONSTRUCTION, HULL & DECK:
Hull is land laminated composite cored FRP with the resin-infused via SCRIMP. Deck and cockpit are composite cored hand laminated FRP SCRIMP resin infused. Solid FRP modified V keel. Molded non-skid decking and toe rail sections, vinyl rub rail runs the length of the hull and transom. Anodized aluminum windshield, aluminum radar arch, and an S/S tubed bow rail. Teak slatted swim platform on S/S brackets.
