Description

“SHARON ROSE” is a well-kept 2015 Grady-White Canyon 336 powered by twin Yamaha F350 HP four-stroke outboards. While early Yamaha F350s have developed a reputation that can give buyers pause, these engines present exceptionally well and have clearly benefited from attentive care, showing the value of maintenance over judging an outboard by the hour meter alone.

Grady-White’s C. Raymond Hunt-designed SeaV² hull features a continuously variable deep-V that sharpens toward the bow, combining offshore ride characteristics with the strong stability afforded by her 11’7” beam.

Highlights Include:

  • 34-knot cruise burning approximately 36 GPH combined, with a top end approaching 42 knots
  • Panda diesel generator with helm and console air conditioning
  • Extensive fishing package with refrigerated transom box, dual livewells, outriggers, teaser reels, and rod/ tackle storage
  • Well-preserved factory gelcoat with excellent gloss and shine
  • Indoor shed kept in the off-season with full boat winter cover

The Grady-White Canyon 336 is built around the company's renowned SeaV² hull, an exclusive continuously variable-V design developed in collaboration with C. Raymond Hunt Associates. Rather than carrying a constant deadrise from bow to stern, the SeaV² hull progressively sharpens as it moves forward, transitioning from approximately 20 degrees at the transom to around 30 degrees amidships and an increasingly aggressive entry at the bow. Combined with pronounced bow flare, lifting strakes and broad chines, the design provides the soft head-sea ride and dryness associated with a deep-V while retaining the stability and efficiency desired in an offshore center console.

Construction is equally substantial, using a hand-laid fiberglass hull and deck, supported by an internal fiberglass stringer and grid system, with closed-cell flotation. The hull incorporates fiberglass-reinforced polyester and vinylester resins, while the molded liner and deck cap are cored for additional stiffness. The major molded components are joined at the sheer through a vertical flange and secondary chemical bond, creating a rigid, integrated structure. With an 11'7" beam and substantial freeboard, the Canyon 336 combines a wide, stable working platform with offshore running characteristics.
