Description

The King 40 is the 2009 Sailing World magazine's Overall Boat of the Year!  Designed by world renowned designer Mark Mills and built by King Marine in Argentina, the King 40 is the perfect IRC and PHRF racer.  "American Girl" is the complete package with carbon rig and boom, full sail inventory, new electronic displays, custom cradle and trailer for sail storage, etc.  She has been actively campaigned by SUNY Maritime Academy for the last three years after being donated by her original owner and is now seriously for sale.  If you're looking for a turnkey racer-cruiser for buoy racing or offshore, look no further.

Accomodations

The King 40 will sleep 10 with a double V-berth forward, port and starboard double quarterberths as well as upper and lower berths to port and starboard in the main salon.  There is a head forward with Jabsco manual marine head, sink with hot and cold pressure water.  The galley is aft to starboard complete with double stainless sink, hot and cold pressure water, a Princess two-burner gimballed propane stove with oven and Waeco 12-volt refrigeration.  There is a nav station to port.
