2002 Catalina 42 MkII

"C Monster" is a beautiful example of the popular Catalina 42.  She is the three-cabin, two-head version with a pullman berth in the forward master stateroom allowing for the large stall shower in the ensuite head.  Her two matching aft staterooms allow for the perfect liveaboard or simply entertain friends and family.  Come and get aboard "C Monster" for a closer look.

"C Monster" is a terrific example of the popular Catalina 42.  She has the three-cabin, pullman berth layout.  Forward is the master cabin with a pullman berth to port with inner-spring mattress and ample storage via drawers and cedar-lined hanging lockers to starboard.  Forward is the master head complete with stall shower, manual marine toilet and a large frosted opening hatch for plenty of natural light and ventilation.

The teak and holly sole continues aft into the main cabin with a large dinette to port which is convertible to an additional berth.  The galley is to starboard facing outboard with front and top loading refrigerator/freezer, propane stove/oven, microwave and plenty of storage.  The nav station is aft and to port with an AM/FM/CD stereo, VHF and a cell phone signal amplifier.

The guest staterooms are aft to port and starboard.  Each berth is complete with inner-spring mattresses and numerous opening ports for natural light and ventilation.  They each have a large cedar-lined hanging locker as well.  The guest head is to starboard complete with manual marine head and handheld shower.

On deck, all lines are led aft to the cockpit for easy sail handling.  The cockpit cushions have had new covers replaced and the navy blue Sunbrella dodger and bimini have Isenglas side curtains and a connector to help extend your sailing season.  The helm station is complete with Raytheon, speed, depth, wind, autopilot, GPS chartplotter and radar as well as a RAM microphone for the VHF.  The on-deck accomodations are completed with an electric anchor windlass forward, roller furling genoa, full-battened mainsail with a Doyle stackpack, hot & cold cockpit shower, swim platform and ladder and Catalina's sterm pushpit seats.  There is also a new assymetric cruising spinnaker with CDI furling system!
