1978 J Boats J/24

Jazz is a second owner J/24 that has been used very lightly and has been out of the water for the last two years.  She comes complete with several suits of sails includinig one suit that was used in the 2006 Worlds and then half a dozen times after that.  She was raced locally in Newport only and has not done any traveling.  Her present Owner has not had time to use the boat and would like her to go to a good home.

Jazz has been out of the water for the last two years and was wet sailed off a mooring during her previous years.  The keel has not been faired, but the bottom has been raced prepped with Baltoplate in the past.  The topsides were painted approximately ten years ago by the previous Owner.  The standing rigging is original and in good shape.  The running rigging has been upgraded over the years.  Several suits or sails are in serviceable condition and perfect for daysailing.  The racing suit of sails is a full suit of class sails including main, genoa, blade jib and spinnaker and are very lightly used.  Below is a standard J/24 interior, but there are not interior cushions.  The boat also comes with a 2003 Nissan 3.5hp outboard that was fogged and winterized and hasn't been used in at least four years.  There is also a 1980 dual axel Triad trailer that was completely refurbished in 1997.  She is due for another refurbishment.
