Due to the unfortunate results of last fall’s Hurricane Sandy devastation, the Northeastern United States is looking at a coming boom for boat sales. With some 65,000 boats lost during the storm there are thousands of ex-boat owners in need of replacements. Since the 2008 recession began manufactures have been reducing production and some cases building only to ‘order’. This leaves the used boat market as the only source for good boats.
If you have been thinking about moving out of your present boat and are sitting on the sidelines waiting on the economic situation to improve, now is the time! There will not be another time, in the foreseeable future, which your present boat will be worth more.
